Broek op Langedijk – High water trench Tjalk

We placed these gabions for the project High water trench Tjalk in Broek op Langedijk, commissioned by K. Dekker bouw & infra. This project involved a construction in several cross sections, whereby the gabions were mounted onto the already present dam wall.

Construction
A total of 20m1 gabion was applied, mesh width 50×100 mm.

Filling
The stone used is a limestone in commercial size 56/125 mm. The filling was applied mechanically to the gabions.
