Sliedrecht – Baanhoek West
We were granted the placement of these gabions for this project in Sliedrecht by Kuipers Infra b.v., This project involved a retaining wall cladding and a gabion top unit.
Construction
We used over 104m2 of gabion for the detached land boundary, with a thickness of 200 mm. We incorporated more than 52m1 of gabion into the top unit, with a diameter of 500×900 mm. The panels have a mesh width of 100×100 mm.
Filling
We then applied the stone filling to the gabions. The stone used is a limestone, 90/150 mm.
